In 2008 Dvorak Sec Contemporary was established by Olga Dvorak and Petr Sec as an arts advisory firm that is specialized in contemporary and modern art and a gallery exhibition space. Utilizing the expert knowledge and international network built from over 7 years of experience in the art world, DSC provides expert advice and personalized consultation to a wide range of clients (including private collectors, corporations and art art institutions) who are interested in building and developing noteworthy art collections.
In addition to the gallery space on Dlouha 5, Dvorak Sec Contemporary also operates Gallery Art Factory, a private gallery space founded by Dvorak in 2002. First established with the goal of serving as a platform for young and emerging Czech artists, Gallery Art Factory moved on to play a leading role in the development and advancement of the Czech contemporary art market. The organization has helped develop collections for a number of corporations including Cap Gemini, BH Securities, Proximity Prague, Semma, and Subterra.
In 2003, Gallery Art Factory began the well known project Sculpture Grande, an annual outdoor art festival the exhibited contemporary sculptures in the historic city squares of central Prague. For six years the annual project—organized and curated by Dvorak—exhibited public contemporary art projects throughout the historical center of Prague and was a milestone for the Czech contemporary art environment. To date, Sculpture Grande has hosted over 200 international artists and has displayed more than 120 sculptures. In its final years, the project attracted highly-esteemed international artists such as Erwin Wurm, Julian Opie, Stephan Balkenhol, Dennis Oppenheim, Mark Titchner, Sylvie Fleury, all of whom displayed their sculptures in historical Prague.
