Dvorak Sec Contemporary offers full-time and part-time non-paid internships. The programme provides students, graduate students, and beginning professionals with practical work experience and in-depth training in the gallery profession. It offers successful candidates the opportunity to spend six months working full time with a department, gaining insight into all functions of Dvorak Sec Contemporary, and an overall understanding of the gallery's role within the Contemporary art world.

Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Basic administration skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Basic Computer skills (Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Fluency in English
  • A Team player, with an enthusiastic and proactive attitude
  • Flexibility
  • An art education/background is also preferable

Conditions of the internship programme

Interns will be offered a six-month period, with an initial one month probationary period at the beginning of the programme. It is possible to renew the programme once, with a maximum internship of one year.

The intern will start with a brief orientation of the gallery's structure. A basic prerequisite for all candidates should be a level of flexibility. Each successful candidate will gain an overall insight to the work of Dvorak Sec Contemporary.
