Dvorak Sec Contemporary announces a call to emerging artists under the age of 35 for Sculpture.dot, an outdoor international art show and competition for contemporary sculpture and installation.
Sculpture today can be intuitive and sensual, and its applications are infinite, curious, and surprising. It opens up new roads in the service of man and stimulates his imagination. Respectful of the environment, it must be seen in the context of a will for sustainable development. The contemporary work we are seeking will be a today´s hymn to historical Prague, a strong, powerful and elegant message communicated by a material or light, which is both universal and protean in nature.
Sculpture.dot is a unique opportunity for young and emerging artists to exhibit their work in a popular square in the center of Prague. Finalists chosen by an international curatorial team will exhibit their work for one month as a part of a year-long outdoor exhibition in Hastalska Square; which is in the center of the business and cultural communities in Prague. One winner will be chosen from the finalists to receive the Sculpture.dot award.
