Santiago Picatoste interprets painting as an open landscape where the artist can develop his own dialogue with tradition, innovating the heritage he has received by mains of the appropriation and the hybridization of all styles and languages. Recently, he has started to transfer a sense of a urban nature to his sculptures which reproduce his most common icon: the flower.
